NGS Mach II Release 4.01 Field Upgrade Utility MY 2011

IMPORTANT! This update may take up to 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete on your Mach II.

Before You Begin

  • Download, save and read the installation instructions. You may also want to print them for reference during the upgrade procedure.
  • Windows® Vista Users — Turn off the User Account Control (UAC) before installing the update.
  • Windows® 7 Users — Turn on Windows® XP Compatibility Mode.

How to Turn Off the User Account Control (UAC) For Windows® Vista Operating System

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Click User Account and Family Safety.
  4. Click User Account.
  5. Click Turn User Account Control on or off. If prompted, enter the administrator password.
  6. Clear the check box to turn off the UAC.
  7. Click OK.
  8. After completing the software installation, make sure to turn the UAC back ON.

How to Run in Compatibility Mode For Windows® 7 Operating System

  1. Click the icon on your computer's desktop for the downloader program (NGS PC Update, Mach II Update etc.).
  2. Select Troubleshoot Compatibiity.
  3. Select Automatically Apply Settings.
  4. Click Start the Program.
  5. Click Turn User Account Control on or off. If prompted, enter the administrator password.
  6. Clear the check box to turn off the UAC.
  7. Click Next.
